South Auckland Research Centre, Manukau Library Level 1, 3 Osterley Way, Manukau City CBD, Auckland

Thursday 4 August 2016 11:00am – 12:00pm -  Part of New Zealand Family History Month

Te Kāhiti o Aotearoa: The NZ Gazette is the official government newspaper and has been published since 1841.

These records pre-date the Māori Land Court minute books. Come and join Senior Librarian – Māori Research, Raewyn Paewai and learn about how the NZ Gazette can be a valuable resource for finding information about Māori tupuna, Māori land including successions, transfers, land status and much more.

Please phone on 261-8637 to register your interest in attending this event.
