WHANGANUI RESEARCH DAY AT THE ALEXANDER HERITAGE AND RESEARCH LIBRARY 12th JULY 2014

Frances HADDOCK of the NZSG Whanganui Branch kindly represented the Māori Interest Group at this event. 

She was allocated a table just inside the entrance to the library and many visitors expressed their interest in the resources available.  
 
Peter JOHNSTON generously donated the results of his research which were relevant to whakapapa.  This is a list of the names of Māori soldiers from the Whanganui District who served in WW1. BJ
